Wow, did I just say the NASA channel was fun? Yep, I think I did.
Living pretty close to Cape Canaveral has a lot of fun positive aspects.
Not only were we at Disney on Saturday, but while there we got to see this in the afternoon…
So now that school is pretty much over for us for this year, we have been turning on the TV in the morning to see what the astronauts are up to. I’ve gotten to enjoy my morning coffee watching them get ready for space walks, and this morning we got to see them having fun inside the new KIBO addition to the space station.
I’ve never really paid much attention to this before, but for some reason we have really been enjoying watching all of this. It just amazes me to see these guys floating out in outer space working on the space station while the earth just passes below them. WOW! What a beautiful thing they get to see. I imagine it’s a humans idea of what God sees.
This morning they got a chance to go into the KIBO part of the space station. It was fun to watch them get to do flips and play around in there since there wasn’t much in there yet, and plenty of room to stretch out.
Did you know Buzz Lightyear got to go into space with these guys? How fun is that. What a great way to get kids interested in Space again!! Watch this cute video…
Well, I better get off here. Since we’ve been watching the space shuttle stuff, we’ve been inspired to watch one of our favorite silly movies… Rocketman. I’ll have to do a movie review on that one tomorrow.
