I was back in the kitchen last week doing the ‘domestic engineer‘ thing that I’ve let slide. And I have to say, I’m getting my KITCHEN LOVE back on. I am truly starting to love being in my kitchen again and trying out new things.
One of my families favorite things that I make is homemade English Muffin Bread.
Well, to be honest here, they REALLY LOVE it when I make regular English Muffins- you know the round ones that look like you bought them in the store – YES- I can actually make them look that good – but this week that wasn’t happening.
This week they would get English Muffin BREAD and be happy about it! LOL. Which they were. My DH LOVES this stuff. When he gets home from work and see’s it all sliced up… I get a BIG ole kiss from my man.
Now normally I DO NOT get excited when my DH brings a new tool into our house. I know nothing of those things, but this one he KNEW would come in handy. And I have to admit, it has become one of my most favorite things in the kitchen.
I remember him telling me that this tool is used to gauge the temperature in engine fluids or something like that, but I use it to measure the temperatures of our KITCHEN fluids. LOL. Like milk needed for the English Muffin bread. How cool is that!!
I’ve also used this nifty little tool for checking oil temperature in a frying pan. It’s VERY cool!
So with the help of my cool tool, I was able to achieve the right temperature to make my English Muffin Bread masterpieces.
