This weekend some of our family from Maryland are coming into Orlando to spend a week at Disney. Since we live only an hour away from all the fun, we are looking forward to spending some time with them and hearing about their adventures at the parks.
Helping them figure out where the best place to get Disney World Tickets and other preparations, reminded me of our first visits to Disney World. It takes a lot of work to get there and to figure out all the different things you want to do, but it’s always so worth it. One of the best places we’ve found to get tickets is Orlando Fun Tickets.
Since we’ve moved here, we’ve helped quiet a few family members and friends plan their trips. They ask us about where to stay and how to get around, but the biggest question we get is “What is your favorite park?”
I always say that my favorite park is The Magic Kingdom. It’s not so much because it has the best rides or greatest entertainment, but the Magic Kingdom is where we always seem to have the best memories.
Our princesses had NO idea that they were going to Disney World when we first went. That alone is a fun story to tell, but for now I’ll just focus on when we got there. The Magic Kingdom was the first park we went to to start our Disney trip.
It’s where Princess L was ‘bounced’ by Tiger. Where Princess S got a special little hug from Piglet. It’s where I watched them turn into Dalmatian’s and Fairy Princesses before my eyes.
It’s where my DH relives his childhood while fighting Captain Zurg on Buzz Lightyear or flying over Neverland with Peter Pan. It’s where I loved to see my Princesses faces light up eight years ago at all their favorite characters and where I can get the BEST ice cream sandwich in the world.
Each of Disney World’s other parks have their own ‘specialness’ to them, but the Magic Kingdom is the one place where so many many memories have been made for us.
