What do you mean it’s not Tuesday??
Oh wait, your right. It’s not. It’s Thursday.
Well, it’s been quiet a busy week here and I haven’t had much time to sit and blog. You can see what we’ve been up to over at Princess S’s blog.
But I did want to share with you another one of my favorite recipes
This dish is so YUMMYLICIOUS and so easy to make. It’s a great meal to throw in your crock pot when you have a busy day ahead and want something good for dinner when you get home.
Sweet and Sour Pork Chops
5-6 lbs. pork chops
1 1/2 cups flour
salt & pepper
2 cups onions cut in rings
2 cups celery cut
2 cups green pepper, sliced
1 cup catsup
4 tbsp. sweet pickle juice
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. worchestire sauce
1 1/2 cups sugar ( or to taste)
1 1/2 cup water
Roll chops in flour, salt and pepper. Set aside.
Inside your crock pot, mix all the remaining ingredients.
One by one, place chops in crock pot, moving and dredging them in the sauce till all is covered.
Cook for 6 –8 hours ( or until tender)
Serve over your favorite rice and enjoy!!
