I’m sitting here teary eyed.
Not in sadness, but in sweet joy.
Not for just one reason, but for many.
I’m a mother to two beautiful God’s girls and a daughter to an amazing mother, who fought breast cancer and won!
All three of these ladies are HUGE blessings in my life.
There are lots of women, both young and old, who were not able to beat breast cancer.
But through this one beautiful woman’s life, many lives can be not only touched with the gift of hope, but money can be raised to help raise awareness and fight the battle.
From She Colors My Day’s web site:
the art of grace’s she colors my day project began when annette, a mother dying of breast cancer, created a keepsake for the four daughters she was preparing to leave behind and gave this gift to her close friend, cristina carlino. anne’s sweet gift of music became the inspiration for the “she colors my day" song co-written by cristina carlino for her daughter that would later be recorded by multi-grammy award winner, amy grant.
A portion of net proceeds goes directly to She Colors My Day to benefit Susan G. Komen, Entertainment Industry Foundation/Women’s Cancer Research Fund.
How can you help? So glad you asked..
