You think that if a person drives 14 hours one way to visit her family she’d spend all her time visting with them right?
Well, I kind of did.
You see I had something that was distracting me. Something REALLY good!
Candace Calvert’s third installment in Mercy Hospital series:
The cover alone get’s the heart going, but read about two pages into the book and you’ll be hooked!
I almost feel a little guilty writing the review now, because Code Triage isn’t available until September.. but look at this way.. you can pre-order your copies now and if you haven’t read the first two ( Critical Care & Disaster Status ) , you have time to order them and catch up in time for Code Triage.
Ok, so now onto my review.
She did it again. She wrote a wonderful Christian fiction packed with an adrenaline pumping, heart racing storyline that keeps you page turning and gets your pulse racing!
Code Triage has you follow along as Nick, a strong, repentive cop, fights for his marriage to Leigh, a stubborn, but hurt nurse, with all that he has.
Nothing comes easy to this couple as they try to find their way back to each other. Tragedy, deception, lies, and even some animal issues, come up against them.
But as Nick continues to pray and ask God for guidance and direction, Leigh finds that fighting her husband and God are a lot harder than she had planned.
Believe you me, this story is so good, it kept me up a few nights visiting family. I just couldn’t put it down!
