Wow! I’m actually doing a Meme two weeks in a row!
This one is something I can accomplish and helps to focus a little on the past few days!
Thanks Sandra for putting this together!
The weather in my neck of the woods:
Still hot and humid. The weather people here don’t get a lot of exciting stuff to predict.
Things that make me happy:
Having my family sit around the dinner table together. Laughing, talking, just being together
Book I’m reading:
Follow by Floyd McClung
What’s on my TV today:
Contemporary Christian music via Music on Demand
On the menu for dinner:
Black Beans & Rice with Basil & Cheese sausage
On my To Do List:
Banking & Bills, Recovering from starting workout regimen again
New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
Gluten Free Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls
In the craft basket:
The same digital scrapbooking from last week that was never touched
Looking forward to this week:
Seeing what God has in store for us. Spending time with hubby before he takes off for the weekend.
Tips and Tricks:
Don’t start the Crockpot full of dinner BEFORE you work out. It’s REALLY hard to workout while sweet smells of dinner are floating through the air!
My favorite blog post this week:
My Letter of Intent – Daughter voting for the first time!
Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):
5 Minutes for Mom -Susan’s sweet post about how her daughter REFUSES to kiss boys! You go Girl!
No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):
Lesson learned the past few days:
I was reminded that God desires.. actually LOVES it.. when I come to Him. Constantly seeking, constantly knocking, constantly searching for His direction
On my mind:
Why our country has become so complacent with things that are NOT of God. Especially when we become Tolerant of religions that are Against Israel.
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
22 Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he went, always pressing on toward Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?”
He replied, 24 “Work hard (Force yourself through it) to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail. 25 When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Lord, open the door for us!’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ 26 Then you will say, ‘But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ 27 And he will reply, ‘I tell you, I don’t know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.’
