I'm not one to post A LOT of personal info on my blog, facebook or Twitter..So most of you probably didn't even know that I was gone all last week. But I was. LOL
My daughter, who just recently graduated, wanted to take a trip back to MD to visit family & friends.
So off we went.
I had planned on taking ALL kinds of pictures. Pictures of our journey up Interstate 95 and family and friends, but alas.. I did not.
I did get a few fun shots - with the help of my daughters.
This is my daughter driving up 95 for the FIRST time!!
She did very well.
Me on the other hand…
I was a little nervous. Can you tell?
I’m not a very good 'passenger’..
my youngest daughter though… check out her in the back seat.. out like a light..
On our way up, I had stopped to call my sister. I found a really nice picnic table to lay down on and stretch my back out..
While laying down, I was surrounded by some local geese. I had NO idea. LOL.
My daughter caught this shot of me running from the geese invasion.
There’s more pics to come, but all in all we had a wonderful time.
It’s always kind of surreal to visit Maryland. We moved from all our friends and family about 6 years ago to start a new adventure in Florida.
We truly LOVE it here, but it is VERY hard to be so far away from everyone we love so dearly.
I’ll be back again later this week to share some other adventures with you.
I’ll also be posting about the Candance Calvert book I took with me to review! Code Triage comes out in September, and just like the other two books I’ve read in this series.. it’s VERY VERY good. I stayed up late one night because I couldn’t put it down. Loved it!
my daughter is driving too with a permit....lol I look just like you and we have not went on the free way yet.....hee hee hee
ReplyDeleteOur girls must be around the same age.
so glad y'all had a nice trip!!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to hear more about it ;)
love that picture of you running away from the geese lol
Love, love your photos! And completely honored that Nick and Leigh Stathos (of CODE TRIAGE) got to share your Maryland vacation. Looking forward to your book review. :-)
