I don’t blog about my couponing adventures all that much anymore..
There’s SOOO many blogs and even TV shows now about saving with coupons, I just rather leave it to the pros’..
But I do consider myself a savvy coupon clipper.
I can go to the grocery store and buy $90 worth of groceries and spend $25 with the best of them..
And I’ve actually been doing it since BEFORE it was Cool to coupon clip.
My hubby and I decided early on that I was going to stay home and we would be a one income family, so coupon clipping and deal finding became my ‘job’ , so to speak.
This is how I used to organize my coupons..
One beat up all accordion file thingy and a black plastic box.
They worked pretty well for quite awhile.
I even had a big enough purse to camouflage the black box (which pleases my teenagers), thus allowing me to bring them with me just about everywhere.
Recently I updated a little to these…
Nothing grand or spectacular here, but they work really well.
I don’t do the BINDER thing that a lot of coupon clippers do..
I like having my coupons handy in any circumstance..
It allows me to pick up REALLY good deals on items that are clearance or on sale that I didn’t know about.
They come in quiet handy when I’m out ‘window’ shopping and find a great deal.. I just reach in my purse and VOILA.. instant DEALIO
I tried the binder thing.. I really did.. but to me it was just frustrating. I felt like I was going to school when I was walking into the grocery store.. LOL.
I have some friends (really I do..) who do the binder thing and LOVE it. Cuudos to them..
I guess it’s like Asparagus.. some people LOVE it.. and some don’t..
So how do you organize your coupons?? I’d love to hear..
Leave me a comment or even blog about it and link back to me..
