I Can’t Believe I’m Doing This

Ok.

So as I peruse through Pinterest, I start hearing the theme to the vintage children’s story “ The Little Engine that Could” in my head..

I think I can.. I think I can… I think I can..

Why?

Well, you know.. I look at all these REALLY cool projects that some REALLY talented ladies are doing and I start thinking to myself..

I think I can.. I think I can… I think I can..

But, uh oh…

This could be trouble.

Add to the fact that I got this REALLLY SMELLY..

Well, it’s not smelly anymore.. thanks to me wrapping it in newspaper to absorb said smelliness..

this WHAT COULD BE REALLY cute Wing Back chair.. which is also a RECLINER

(which is the one reason my dear hubby even let me bring said smelliness into the house.. so he could eventually RECLINE in said chair)

at our local thrift store for a mere $20

Can someone say “DEALIO”.. I think so..

( and yes, it has a seat cushion but that was the source of said smelliness, so the foam was quickly throw out and cover washed)

 

Phew.. that was a LONG run on sentence…

But anyhoo..

Because I saw this on Pinterest..

I’m thinking I CAN DO THIS..

So, the destruction has begun..

(ignore that YUCKY stain.. ugh.. that piece will be removed later this afternoon.. once I find my latex gloves and face mask..LOL)

And thanks to Jo Ann Fabric’s Labor Day Sale this weekend.. I’ll be out purchasing the fabric and other necessities I’ll need..

Than OPERATION PUT BACK TOGETHER will start.
