Well, this is the second week that I’ve been using the YNAB software and so far..
It’s VERY easy to use and does a great job keeping track of everything.
My old software had a place where I could input how I wanted every paycheck spread out and I haven’t figured out if or how to do that with YNAB yet.
For me, it would be easier to set this up so that it automatically does it, so I’m going to have to take a minute and contact customer support and ask them about that. I’ll let you know what I find out.
Also, I have quite a few categories and as my list got longer, I found that I had to play around with the screen to get it to where I could see what I was doing. A little strange..
But, beyond that. I’m really liking this software.
When it comes to banking/accounting.. YUCK.. I don’t like it. But YNAB is making it doable.
Next week my banking statement should be in, so I’ll have had the chance to reconcile and see how all that goes with the YNAB program.
