I haven’t done a cooking/recipe blog post in quite awhile..
So I thought it was ABOUT TIME to post one and I have JUST the thing that I want to write about.
You know those times when you’re in the kitchen and you think..
‘Ok.. I’ve got this and this and this to cook with… I wonder how it will taste when I put it all together?’
And after it’s all said and done and the dirty dishes are washed and put away, you realize..
DANG! That was good!!
Well that was the case tonight.
I knew I need to figure out something to do with the large cabbage head that I had in the fridge so I decided I would try to use it in place of noodles.
Tasting the way the cabbage does, I knew the only dish that I could probably pull off was an oriental one.
That being said..
I managed to make a Darn good Sweet and Sour Cabbage with ‘Meat’ balls.
I sautéed the cabbage, made Chef Chloe Coscarelli’s ‘Meatballs’ (with s few variations), her Sweet and Sour Sauce and
Another experimental dinner successfully completed!
I wish I could share the ‘Meatball’ recipe and such, but you can only find them in her cookbook, Chloe’s Kitchen.. but believe you me.. GET THE BOOK because these things are DELICIOUS!!!
