Here I go…
I think I’m actually more excited about doing the HH28 Challenge than my self imposed challenge of working out 6 out 7 days a week… probably because the first is easier to do than the first.. but, here I go..
Day 1 of the HH28 Challenge – Eating Whole Foods –
Breakfast – One yummy refuel smoothie – 100% fruit juice, 1 bananna, handful of frozen organic veggies, handful of organic baby spinach, small handful of organic oatmeal, and half a scoop of plant protein powder. Pure yummyness.
Lunch – still to be had – trying out Qrunch veggie burgers for the first time. Packed with nothing but pure yummyness.. veggies, gluten free, organic, non-GMO, no dairy, eggs, nuts.. and so much more! Can’t wait. And I’ll be back to tell you how they are.
Dinner – still to be had – going to go for a Veggie Shephards pie tonight. Who doesn’t love a whole bunch of veggies topped with creamy potatoes! If it turns out well, I’ll share the recipe in a later post!
Alright.. now onto the workout..
Today – Run/Walk combo- working back up to being able to run a full 5K. So today I ran/walked by doing a 1min/1min interval. It worked out pretty well, but had trouble getting my breathing settled.
Tomorrows adventure in working out – I think I’m gonna shake it up a little – maybe the 30 Day Shred with Jillian and than some Wii Dance-ing….
And here’s some of my spiritual inspiration for the week.. this is my core.. this is where I draw my strength..
