It’s been a little while since I’ve had the chance to review a cookbook, so I was beyond thrilled to get the chance to check out the newest edition to the Betty Crocker Cookbooks.
For the 11th Edition book, Betty Crocker teamed up with Box Tops for Education. There is a special 32 page section of family baking favorites that include recipes using at least one Box Top product. Recipes like Easy Caramel-Apple Bars and Ball Game Cupcakes, are just a few of many recipes that will make sharing your delicious yummies with all your family and friends.
Each Box Top that you cut out from various products is worth 10 cents and with over 240 participating products, that can add up to a lot of great savings for your local school. Inside the Betty Crocker 11 Edition, you’ll find 10 Free Box Tops that will help jumpstart your collection or add to it.
I also enjoyed all the new and different sections to the cookbook. The “ Do it Yourself” , “Entertaining”, and “Breakfast & Brunch” sections were a few of my favorites.
They also have a “Learn to Make” feature that includes step by step photos AND online demos for each recipes found in this sections. Being a visual person, I loved this and enjoyed watching the videos. There’s also access to 85 online videos demonstrating recipes and techniques from the book and 400 bonus recipes. How cool is that!
The Betty Crocker 11th Edition would make a fabulous Teacher Gift this year! Treat your favorite educated to not only a fun, recipe packed cookbook, but help your local schools at the same time by add a few more Box Tops to their collection.
Oh and of course I can’t do a cookbook review without cooking something right??
The other night I was stumped for something different for dinner, so I grabbed the Betty Crocker Cookbook and found a delicious recipe for a herbed chicken breast meal that I served with pesto pasta, green beans, and sautéed cherry tomato’s . YUMMY!
