Is Jeremy Mitchell Cooking Up Romance?
Overworked chef Jeremy has ordered up the perfect vacation: a fly-fishing getaway and some much-needed alone time. But when he arrives in the Colorado mountain town, he’s immediately captivated by the lovely proprietor of the bed-and-breakfast, not to mention her young son.
Alison Taylor still mourns her first husband even as she fights to keep their shared dream of a B and B alive. But there’s no denying that she and her big-city guest have all the ingredients for something special. Will this star-crossed pair realize that second chances can happen…if only they’ll let them?
Not So Perfect Housewife Review:
Great things come in small packages…
That can definitely be said about Brandy Bruce’s newest book Recipe for Love. A delightfully charming book that will have you loving Jeremy’s and Alison’s character right from the beginning.
I have been able to read all four of Brandy’s Heartsong Presents books and have loved each one of them. With each book I have been able to follow a character from a previous book which makes the story line even more interesting.
Recipe for Love is set in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado where Alison Taylor, a widowed mother and struggling B & B owner is drawn to her handsome guest Jeremy who is on vacation from his high pressured Chef position in Denver.
I was able to read this book in a day and a half. Not much else got done around my house, but I just couldn’t put it down. The story of Alison touches a small place in my heart and at one precious point, had me tearing up, with joy, for her character.
Heartstong books are small compared to normal fiction, but Brandy Bruce does an amazing job fitting a very heartwarming, engaging Christian fiction story that will have you wanting to read her other books if you already haven’t done so already.
