I have been a fan of Cathy’s Miller’s Creek Series for a few years now.
From the very first in the series, Texas Road, I have felt like I was local resident of Miller’s Creek. A quiet resident with no storyline of course, but one who knew everything that was going on. I felt like I was there, praying for Steve to realize Dani meant his town no harm, for Trish to open her heart to Andy, and of course for Mona Beth and Bo to live happily ever after.
Cathy’s newest book, Crossroads has me saying that again. Truly, this one is so good I finished it in two days. Mara and Carter’s chemistry jumped off the pages from their first house hunting trip.
I do have to say though, this is the first book of Cathy’s that has brought me to tears. Mara’s love and devotion to her sweet daughter touched this mother’s heart and had me wanting to reach in and just hug her to pieces. The storyline Cathy has wrapped Mara in is so rich and heartwarming, I just loved it. Each storyline is this book had me on the edge of my seat and I would love to detail each one.. but it’s better if you just read the book. No spoilers here.
So Cathy Bryant, if you are reading this, I want you to know.. If I had a big ole Texas Stetson hat to tip in gratitude to you, I would be doing so right now. You have written yet another wonderful and beautiful Christian fiction book that I will highly recommend to anyone!
