Disclosure: As a Stonyfield blogger, I received free samples of Stonyfield organic yogurt in exchange for this post. All opinions and thoughts are all mine.
When I learned that I was lactose intolerant a few years ago I had mixed emotions.
I was already on my journey into a healthier lifestyle, which included eating less meats and buying only organic when possible, so having to take out dairy products for me wasn’t going to be all that life altering..up to the point where my favorite morning snack had to go… yogurt. Now that was going to be hard.
I LOVE yogurt, but it didn’t love me back. So, I reluctantly stopped eating yogurt.. well.. until the other day that is.
You see, I was recently asked to become a Stonyfield Yo-getters ambassador and I couldn’t have been more thrilled.
Stonyfield is yes, mostly dairy products, but they also have some AMAZING soy based yogurts that I fell in love with at Shift Con last year. I’m also not a ONE focus type of gal.. I like to share awesome, organic products with you my reader that I think you would like or benefit from, so I want to be able to share ALL the delicious, organic treats Stonyfield has with you.
I also was reading the other day in a nutritional article that when a person who has an intolerance to something, stays away from it for awhile, they can slowly start reintroducing that item into their diet and could possibly start eating it again – especially if it’s made from whole, organic ingredients.
Well, I quickly took that as a fun challenge to try Stonyfields New Whole Milk Organic Greek Yogurt.
Stonyfield Organic Whole Milk Greek Yogurt
Made with cultured pasteurized organic whole milk, organic strawberries, and live active cultures, Stonyfields Organic Whole Milk Greek Yogurt is a delicious, creamy snack that any yogurt lover would be pleased with.
It’s made in all the ways I would want yogurt to made. It’s USDA Organic, Pasture Raised, Non GMO, Gluten Free, and made by a company who prides itself on providing quality products that are not only good for you, but for the planet too.
The split cup design is easy to use and the ingredients are easily seen and read on the side. They would fit perfectly in lunch boxes for the kids or for adults.
Now, for me and the results of my fun challenge of reintroducing dairy into my diet, well.. yea, I still can’t eat dairy.
The yogurt was so tasty though. The strawberries tasted so fresh and sweet and I added the vanilla to a smoothie, which turned out amazing!
So, even though I won’t be able to eat these again (at least for now), I highly suggest looking for them the next time your shopping for some yogurt.
