If you’ve been been anywhere on the internet over the past year or so I’m sure you’ve seen something about the benefits of Turmeric. It’s like the coconut oil of supplements.. it’s that good.
Turmeric has many wonderful benefits. Benefits like..
- Aides in Digestion
- Helps Prevent Gas and Bloating
- Improves Skin Conditions
- Boosts Immune System
and so many more. Just Google or search on Pinterest for Turmeric Benefits and you’ll find all the great properties this wonderful root has.
For me, Turmeric is a wonderful replacement for Ibuprofen. It has helped me fight off sore muscles from exercise, headaches, and even restless leg syndrome. Nothing is more frustrating than waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep because your legs feel itchy and well… restless. Yet, when I take one capsule of Turmeric, I know that within a few moments my legs seem to relax and I can get back to a good nights sleep.
I’m not a doctor by any means, but I do know from my own experience that Turmeric – when taken properly – lives up to a lot of the benefits you read all about.
How to Make Turmeric Capsules at Home
When purchasing Turmeric, I wanted to make sure that I was buying organic and or non-gmo, and that it was coming from reputable source. I didn’t want to invest in a product like this, one that I would be taking on a somewhat regular basis, and have it not work. So, after doing quite a bit of research I found that buying Turmeric powder in bulk allowed me to not only save money, but I could also buy organic, which was even more important.
There’s was only one problem with buying it in bulk though.. I had to learn how to make my own capsules.
So, AGAIN, I did more research and learned not only how to make capsules, but that I needed to mix pepper in with the powder. I learned, Turmeric in and of itself, when ingested is metabolized before it can be absorbed. Adding pepper to the mixture is said to help with the absorption.
Once I added the pepper to the Turmeric mixture, I saw a big difference, a good difference, in how I was feeling and how the Turmeric was working for me.
So, if you’re interested in learning how to make your own Turmeric capsules, watch the video I put together below and try it for yourself.
