No, it’s not on my car.. it’s on my fridge.. because that’s where it belongs.
It was given to me to as a silly gift, but honestly.. if you add ‘& coffee’ to it.. it would pretty much sum up how I feel about death.
Death By Chocolate
You’re probably wondering two things at this point. One, that I’m completely crazy and two, what in the world does that bumper sticker say?
Well, as for your first thought.. yes, I do have my moments of craziness, but don’t we all?
And for your second thought..
You see, I have a wonderful and all encompassing love for chocolate. It’s truly good for me. It lifts me spirits, brings me joy, and well, just makes me happy.

Good Chocolate Does Make A Difference
Being a Rodelle Brand Ambassador comes in handy when it comes to my love of chocolate. Although their base products are amazing vanilla products, they recently came out with an organic cocoa powder that will satisfy any chocolate fan’s taste buds.
A cocoa powder aficionado I do not consider myself. I have never been particularly picky about my cocoa powders. I didn’t realized that there was really all that different of a taste. That was, until I started cooking with Rodelle’s Baking Cocoa.
Oh my! This cocoa powder has such a rich chocolate taste and makes any recipe you add it to just pop with flavor.
Double Chocolate Nice Cream ~ Delicious & Healthy
Sweet flavors is what I especially like after a nice dinner. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or a huge amount, but I do like to finish off my meals with something sweet.
With that being said, I do really try to make sure that my sweets are healthy too. Yes, they will have some kind of sugar type addition, but I’m always trying to create a delicious, dairy-free and gluten-free treat that will satisfy the sweet tooth I have.
That’s how this Double Chocolate Nice Cream came about. Using some sliced, frozen bananas I had in the freezer, some of this new cocoa powder, and some pure maple syrup, my after dinner treat was ready in no time.
Just A Few Ingredients and Voila
With just four simple ingredients, this dessert is off the hook. It’s so easy to make and it tastes amazing.
It’s a little rich, so I am able to eat just a little bit at a time. Spreading out the sugary content and making it last for a good week or so.
You can also add your favorite nut butter to the mix and have even more delicious treat!
Watch How Simple It Is To Make
- 4 frozen and slice bananas
- 6 TBSP organic cocoa powder
- 4 TBSP pure maple syrup
- 4 TBSP cocoa nibs ( you can use regular chocolate chips too)
- 1/4 cup peanut or almond butter (optional)
- Process the sliced bananas, cocoa powder, and maple syrup together in a food processor or blender for a few seconds.
- Add in cocoa nibs and process for just a few seconds more
- Keep in air-tight container for up to two weeks.
